This frame utilizes a new technique which a sheet of metal is cut and pressed to look smooth like wire rims. Although the frame appears to be made of thin wire rim at first glance, the technique allows for a form unachievable by wire rims with varied thickness of upper and bottom rim.

This model has new temple parts which is uniquely shaped with crosscut lines, and is inspired by Japanese hand tools made of copper and stainless steel. [151] is hexagon and [152] is oval shape.
